Pitchforks & Petticoats is a celebration of the imperfectly beautiful. Every piece is shaped by resilience, creativity, and a deep respect for process over perfection. Some elements are made by my hands, others by nature itself — weathered, worn, and wonderfully unpredictable.
I work intuitively, allowing materials, time, and rhythm to guide the outcome. Whether a piece is a one-off or part of a repeated form, it carries its own quiet character and story — no two are ever truly the same.
Sustainability
Rustic, natural charm sits at the heart of everything I create. I often use reclaimed, repurposed, or found materials, giving them new life while honouring where they’ve come from. Nature isn’t just inspiration here — it’s a collaborator.
By working slowly and mindfully, I embrace sustainability not only in materials, but in the way each piece is made: with patience, intention, and respect for the environment that helps shape it.
Inclusivity
Living with fluctuating disabilities means my work evolves alongside what I’m able to create at any given time. Rather than limitation, this has become a guiding force — allowing space for gentleness, adaptability, and care.
Awaiting ASD diagnosis, repetition and rhythm in making have become a source of calm, grounding, and wellbeing. Pitchforks & Petticoats is an inclusive space — one that values difference, honours lived experience, and welcomes others to find peace, calm, and quiet joy through craft and nature.
